Do names remind you of things like food, for example?

I was going to post this on AIBU, but whenever I've asked people in person whether or not names evoke thoughts of certain foods or objects, they've told me I'm weird or they don't know what the hell I'm on about so I know I'll be flamed haha.

Like for example, the name Robert reminds me of custard. And Melissa reminds me of penne pasta (HAS to be penne.) I could go on and on, and I don't think there would be a name that doesn't evoke some sort of food. It's actually how I decide whether I like certain names.
I can't explain why some names remind me of certain foods, except for more obvious ones like Albert- it reminds me of Broccoli, you can see why. And Diane reminds me of Steak Diane. Tony reminds me of Frosties. Some names remind me of a food that it sounds like- Kayleigh/ Jelly. But for some reason its always food!

Anyone else like this?

This is so interesting! Does the spelling of a name make a difference or is it related to the sound? For example are Sean/Shaun, Claire/Clare, Stuart/Stewart, Rachel/Rachael the same foods?

David has always made me think of gravy for some reason. I think it's the v sound.

This is so crazy, I had to make an account just to add that I do this too! My husband thinks it’s nuts.
Mine are mostly foods, sometimes really specific! Some examples;
Jessica - tasty cheese
Josh/Joshua - sausage rolls
Adrian - some sort of a deep dish veggie pie with flaky crust
Allan - carrots, but the way they’re cut up small and added to jar sauce (kan tong sweet and sour)
Jenny - tuna
Denise - sheer stockings
Rebecca - dry biscuits, like saladas
James - toy trains
Sally - iceberg lettuce
Barry - glace cherries
Emily - lollies, particularly snakes
Amanda - string beans
Just a few I could think of. 😅

I know this is a zombie thread but I thought I was the only person who did this 🤣😂🤣
Patrick - boiled eggs
Simon - quiche
Lucy - soup
Julie - chocolate mousse
Alison - cheese and onion crisps
Stephanie - beef crisps
Christine - salad
Susan - pickles

I also have some names that remind me of things..for example:
Joanne - children's slide
Chris - hen
Lee - gate
Kim - blankets

Charlotte is custard, Jim is sausages, Megan is grapes, Rosie is black pudding

The funny thing is that your people/foods don’t work for me, it must be an individual thing. Crazy.
