Pretentious in the extreme if you are not Welsh? I just think it is very pretty. But wouldn't want to saddle potential DS or DD with something worrisome/cause for teasing.

Out of interest why is it that you think the OP should have welsh heritage to use this name given that so many people call their daughters for example, Isabelle (French), Niamh (Irish),Megan (Welsh), Layla (Arabic)?
