Trying to get opinions on our baby boys name. (not sure whether it is blue or pink yet) but thinking with these strong kicks blue! Can't decide on the name and not sure if Rico is too different??? Would like a middle name beginning with J to fit in with the family 'theme' . Baby due in 3 and a half weeks x

There is nothing wrong with 'different' but there is plenty wrong with Rico Jay.

What about Joseph Richard known as Joe?

usualsuspect · 04/06/2013 19:46

I like it more than Henry.

usualsuspect · 04/06/2013 19:46

Henry Joseph.

Rico Jay is awful.

Astley · 04/06/2013 20:39

Henry is so overused I would go for Rico just so he wasn't one of 5 in his class!

mummsy2be · 04/06/2013 20:41

I teach I that I was I think 'Astley' thanks

His name was Rico, he wore a diamond
he was escorted to his chair, saw Lola dancin there
and when she finished, he called her over
But Rico went a bit too far, Tony sailed across the bar
And then the punches flew and chairs were smashed in two
There was blood and a single gun shot but just who shot who?

Wink Showing my age!

I quite like Rico but would be singing this everyday.

Bue · 04/06/2013 21:20

I thought this was a joke. I just can't believe the two names could originate from the same set of parents!

Definitely Henry Joseph.

LynetteScavo · 04/06/2013 21:23

Henry Joseph is a very fine name indeed.

I prefer Rocco to Rico.

serin · 04/06/2013 21:34

Henry is so boring [yawn]

Rico will be the coolest kid in his class by the time he turns 13.

Rocco is actually a very old and traditional Christian name... (see St Rocco!). I love it.

ChimeForChange · 04/06/2013 21:37

It's Rico time!!

ChimeForChange · 04/06/2013 21:37

Good one Serin - I actually quite like Rocco.....much nicer than Rico

monkeyfacegrace · 04/06/2013 21:42

My ds is Robert Joseph Richard, nicknamed Rico Grin
I think that covers all names suggested!

Turniptwirl · 04/06/2013 23:15

Definitely Henry Joseph!

mynameisnotmichaelcaine · 05/06/2013 07:05

We used to call my ex Rico for a laugh - he was a Richard. I think it sounds a bit wrong unless you have Spanish heritage.
