How much of a no no is

Bailey Bunting?

Considering the rhyme Baby Bunting (that every one comments on) and my other 2 have been and are still called baby x bunting. Is Baby Bailey Bunting too much? I LOVE the name! I'm considering reverting to my maden name just so I can use it Wink

Are the words Cry Bailey bunting? I always thought it was Cry baby Bunting, daddy's gone a hunting.

If its Bailey then its definitely a no! I love the name :(

No the words are baby bunting but the ops baby would be bailey ... A play on words that she is asking would be too much

Bailey sounds like a dogs name to me and coincidentally our dogs middle name is Bunting ( he's not balled Bailey ) . In answer to your question yes it's too much.

I love a bit of alliteration, but in this instance I think it would look like you had chose Bailey specifically to be like Baby.

Bunting is my married surname! I was joking about reverting, my maden name begins with w and is 1 sylable!

Not as bad a Billy but still... I wouldn't.

Personally, I would avoid a first name beginning with B as Bunting is quite a cute surname and most B names would sound a bit nursery rhythm!

I'm not keen on Bailey either so I think that with Bunting would be a no-no for me.

okayhazel, ashamed is slightly harsh! Out of all the people I've asked its actually been a 50/50 split between thinking its cute and not liking it.

being ashamed is rather strong emotion suggesting you feel shame for an action, a name is nothing to feel shame over

Thanks for explaining OP I still like Bailey but I think I'd not pair it with Bunting, personally.

PS Don't take "Ashamed" to heart, btw, OkayHazel must feel very passionately about names and better a genuine response than a false one..?
