Ok so I like simple/shorter names, nothing too frilly, want something cool/surfey/ slightly bohemian but not too try hard....her brother's name is Finn if that gives an idea of our taste.

Thanks so much in advance this is driving us both nuts!

Kelly, for surf vibe and irishness that goes with Finn.

Or, at the risk of being a bit penguiny, Cody. Unisex, also Irish?

Jecca (short for Jessica)

Sam? I love Aoifa, Romilly & George (Georgina). Finlay would have been a good tomboy name if brother hadn't got there first Smile

Give the child two middle names, and make all three names long ones that can be shortened in a variety of ways.

That's what we did, twice Grin

crossparsley · 04/04/2013 01:51

I think Nell/Helen is lovely. Sorry if you thought I was one of the bitchy ones, good luck choosing something that fits and glad to hear you've got more time than you thought. As long as it's something you love calling her it will be perfect.

NB not Biggles, though. Really.
