Please could you rank with 1 as your favourite and 5 as your least favourite?

Second shot at this pg malarkey and need a name to help me feel more hopeful!

Juliette (lovely - unusual and classic. Juliet was on my list for DD)
Lara (DH loves this and I like it but not in the premier league for me)
Autumn (but not sure I'd use it)
Arabella (not keen)
Emerald (not at all keen - reminds me of the awful Emerald in one of the Jeeves & Wooster books...)

I really like Juliette. I don't mind Lara. The others are not to my taste at all.

So my ranking would be:

Juliette
Lara

Autumn
Emerald
Arabella

Thank you everyone, at least that's quite clearly knocked 2 out of the water...I do like unusual but wouldn't want to name my child something the majority thought ghastly!! I may use one of those as a mn though.

It seems pretty close between Juliette or Lara...

I like Emerald and Autumn as long as you are slightly arty, they'd be odd names for a solicitor or a bankers child. Certainly could work if DH is French, French names sound pretty and arty to English ears.

I don't like Shakespeare (philistine, my DD1 and DH, tell me) and I just can't get past Romeo and Juliet.
I'm not mad on Arabella, but it could work with a French surname.

Lara is harsh and horrid, Lyra or Laura are much nicer.

Juliet, it is so evocative of beauty and romance (sorry if that sound BS/OTT)

But soft, what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief
That thou, her maid, art far more fair than she.

Juliette (though much prefer Juliet)
Lara
Emerald
Arabella
Autumn

Only really like Juliet and Lara tbh, although Autumn would be ok as a mn for an autumn baby. Lara Juliette and Juliette Autumn are cute.

Juliette
Lara

Arabella (at a push - there is one at DC's school and her mum is super posh and screechy which has ruined the name for me)

The other two wouldn't be my choice.

Autumn
Juliette
Emerald
Lara
Arabella

Would have considered Autumn for DD but have a relative with the name.
