  1. Lara - I LOVE this name Smile
  2. Juliette - probably wouldn't use it, but it's very pretty

Arabella sounds like arable and makes me think of farming! It also sounds incredibly snobby.

Autumn is a bit tacky, IMO. Sounds very American to my ears.

Emerald is just odd Hmm

Also, I really can't see Autumn or Emerald (perhaps even Arabella) working in French...

In order of fave to least-

  1. Juliette (Julieta- love 'Etta' or 'Etsy' or 'Jewel' but dislike 'Jules, Julie, Julia)
  2. Autumn (different, yet strong, I like 'A' names)
  3. Emerald (like abbreviated version 'Em' and love Jewel related names eg Pearl, Saphira, Ruby etc)
  4. Arabella (a bit too sweet IYSWIM? Like 'Cinderella')
  5. Lara (Croft? Still not horrible imo)

Lara Elise is beautiful. I knew a Lara as a child and she was gorgeous, sweet and clever so it has great connotations for me!

Lara Elise is very pretty.
I knew an Elise when I was younger...she was lovely :)

  1. Juliette (Love this spelling as opposed to Juliet which always looks a bit unfinished to me)
  2. Autumn
  3. Arabella
  4. Lara
  5. Emerald

Would have considered Autumn for DD but have a relative with the name.

Juliette
Lara

Arabella (at a push - there is one at DC's school and her mum is super posh and screechy which has ruined the name for me)

The other two wouldn't be my choice.
