Please could you share your favourite girl names? Either that which you would use to name a baby or one you would have liked to be given yourself?
Emergency baby naming situation!
Many thanks
Em

Aww Laurie, lovely name, Clemence. It's my little cousin's name and she is one of the sweetest little people you could ever meet. I like Clemency, like in the Chalet School.

Hmm. Am a bit hesitant about saying things like boy's names, girl's names. But we must face facts. So I won't include names that I would give a girl but you probs wouldn't.

Cybelia, Loel and Hedda atm. Not Loella though, no. I don't know why I like Hedda so much, but I get a sense of characterfulness and determination from it. It's out of an A.S. Byatt book, and she got it from Ibsen. And Sorrel and Morag. And my favourite, which I think is very classic and strong and plain, Lena. I love L names. My friend loves G names.

Good Luck
