LOVE Spike but, like Wolfie Iggy & Ziggy, I'd like it to be the nickname of something more formal/longer so that he has a choice. Problem is, I really don?t like Wolfgang, Ignatious or Sigmund/Siegfried. Sigurjohn (?Seegeryon? phonetically) is nice, but a bit of a mouthful. And we?re not Scandinavian. What could Spike be short for, I wonder?!
Bruno is also nice, Bonsoir. Cosmo comes from Greek and Italian, but is also used in Russia and Scotland. However, pairing it with Bruno definitely Italianises it. Love Italy, but we?re not Italian! Also, I think we'll have to shy away from any name ending in ?o?. Certainly 2 syllable ones. Just might be odd having ?Cosmo & __o?. Shame, as I really like Milo, Hugo, Nico, Miro, & Ludo, (Ludovico is a real fave).
Good point about the English pronunciation of Inigo, EC. Also, Ivo is nice, and I?ve not heard that before. Ends in ?o? & 2 syllables again though! I like Ivar, which is similar, but it?s a good friends name.
I don?t mind them both having the same initial, Lebkuchenlover. I?d be concerned if the names were similar ? Harry and Henry, or Emma & Ellie for example. I think Cosmo & Constantin have a flow thats different enough from each other, if you know what I mean. And I like Fabian too but, again, its a friends name!
Some great names are coming up though, thanks to all of you! I've had more inspiration from you guys today than in the last 2 months!
