Still struggling on names for our twin girls

Have been wracking my brains but I cannot come up with the right name to go with the one name we have decided on.

Expecting twin girls in 5-6 weeks. Initially we decided to pick one name each. Not a good idea. I want Georgina and DP wants Megan. In my opinion, Megan and Georgina are very different names. Surname is short, one syllable, so I think a 3 syllable name, like Georgina, sounds good. I think Sophia and Isabella go nicely with Georgina but DP insists on Megan. How can I persuade him otherwise?

Any other thoughts of 3 syllable names that go with Georgina?

Georgina seems pretty English to me, although it is a form of George which is widely used across Europe. Megan is quite Welsh, but it is a variant of Margaret which came originally from ancient Greek.

Personally I think that both parents should agree on names together. Hard work but you should both end up happy with your choice(s).

I have a one syllable surname and a three syllable first name. It sounds good, I think. dh, dd and ds all have two syllable names which also sound good with our surname. I went to school with a few Georgina's all of whom were known as Georgie.
