If you're English or live in England, I would choose a popular Irish name (unless you are very confident in your Gaelic). I'd be considering names like Sean, Conor, Ryan, Cian, Liam, Darragh, Oisin, Patrick, Cillian, Eoin, Callum, Shane, Fionn, Kyle, Finn, Aidan, Ronan, Ciaran, Rian, Eoghan, Rory, Cormac, Killian, Dara, Oran, Shay, Ruairi, Niall, Calum, Cameron, and Lorcan. To a lesser extent, I'd be considering Tadhg, Cathal, Senan, Odhran, Daithi and Daire - all a little tricky for English-speakers. I'm not 100% sure if each of those names is Irish but they are all commonly used in Ireland (top 100 in 2010) and therefore are likely to sound good with your surname.
That said, lots of non-Irish names work well with an Irish surname so if none of these choices grab you, don't worry! Think of Grace Kelly, Georgia O'Keefe, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Eugene O'Neill, Chris Cornell, etc.
