Edward and not Ned. Don't like the others.

Geranium3 · 09/06/2012 20:41

edward with nickname teddy or ned, how lovely 5ds

birdofthenorth · 09/06/2012 20:46

Like them all, especially Sonny, shame it's been panned!

CJfromTheWestWing · 09/06/2012 20:49

edwin
Joe
Will
Charlie
Nick
Michael

Please not Arhtur, too old mannish. Snny does not mactch the others, and if Ned is a compromise, it doesn't sound like the right name for you.

birdofthenorth · 09/06/2012 20:49

PS love all your boys' names, what a lovely family you must have!

planetpotty · 09/06/2012 20:52

Sonny Smile

jkklpu · 09/06/2012 20:54

Arthur.
Sonny just sounds as though you couldn't be bothered thinking of a name.

LittleWhiteWolf · 09/06/2012 20:57

What about Ned short for Eddard? Wink

Clary · 09/06/2012 21:11

Arthur is my fave

Great name Grin

Sonny is a nickname, Ned is not good north of the border I understand. Edward is nice tho, or Edwin.

I like yr other names, esp George and Oscar

DottieRose · 09/06/2012 21:13

Arthur or Sonny are fab!! Ned is just beyond blah.

Booette · 09/06/2012 21:18

I love Arthur.

I like Ned, but I'd probably have it as a nn rather than a proper name.

I'm not that keen on Sonny, but I do know a couple so it's getting popular.

Congratulations on boy no.5, i have 5 boys too and it's great, even if very very noisy!

BehindLockNumberNine · 09/06/2012 21:21

Not Sonny, please not Sonny. It is a ridiculous name for an adult and just does not 'sit' well with your other names.
I love Arthur best closely followed by Edward with the nn Ned.

IHeartKingThistle · 09/06/2012 21:23

Sonny is gorgeous

QueenOfPlaguegroup · 09/06/2012 21:25

Arthur - I think it goes better with your other boys names, I also love Art/Artie as a nn.

chipmunksex · 09/06/2012 21:25

Arthur

Baffledandbewildered · 09/06/2012 21:41

Ned is lovely, I t stands on its own as a name love it. Oh like Arthur too

ladycaroline · 12/06/2012 16:06

I like Sonny and also Quincy the one I know gets called Quinn.

evamummy · 12/06/2012 16:18

Arthur Quinn or Arthur Quentin would be lovely imo - love the meaning 5th for your fifth son!

sugarspiceandallthingsnice324 · 12/06/2012 16:29

Love Arthur - nn Artie
Ned is also great (don't think you need edward).

YouFloatLikeAFeather · 12/06/2012 16:50

Arthur, then Ned - possibly short for Edmund (I really do not like Edward but do think Ned should be a shortened version of something).

Don't like Sonny at all, sorry.

4boyzmum · 12/06/2012 19:56

thanks for all your help!!! Think going off Ned now as i discover it is not so complementary north of the border!! my mum/gran/aunt are all scottish so you think they'd have mentioned! lol! but the suggestion of quinn for middle name is just great.....would never have come up with that myself so thanks....seriously considering it now!

I was going to say that about Ned - how about Jed instead? I know a 5 year old one.

Although nowadays it's a bit Jedward Confused Sad

Like Arthur Quentin too.

CheerfulYank · 12/06/2012 20:21

I say Arthur.

Sonny here (America) is very redneck-trailer-park-NASCAR-watching, so I have negative connotations.

Congrats! :)

anniewoo · 12/06/2012 21:05

Sonny no no no. My friend's cousin has a pet called Ned.

bigbluebump · 12/06/2012 21:48

I vote Arthur Quentin or Quentin Arthur (but am biased as I have a Quentin Smile). Edward is nice too but I'm not keen on Ed or Ned, I'm afraid. Sonny is cute for a little boy, but I'd see it more as a nickname. Like Buddy.
