Following on from the Boys thread I decided to start a girls thread.

If I have a baby girl tomorrow(wishful thinking 38 weeks) she will be called Rosalie Jean.

What would you call your Baby Girl?

Robin - with the boy's spelling because it's cooler.

AWomanCalledHorse · 06/06/2012 19:09

If it weren't for blardy Shakespeare; Lavinia or Desdemona.

Alexandria HarleyQuinn...naming your child after a fictional mentalist is so in right now Grin

tummytickler · 06/06/2012 19:17

If dh had no say at all I would have Priscilla Ruby. Unfortunately he does have a say and I am not aloud my Priscilla!

Buntingbunny · 06/06/2012 19:19

Rebecca (except she's DHs ex and I'm not allowed to)

CheerfulYank · 06/06/2012 19:25

Eleanora Josephine or Susannah Primrose. I would call them Nora and Annie Rose for short. :)

fulltimeworkingmum · 06/06/2012 19:25

Flora - DH absolutely refused to countenance this as he said he could not stand that the name of his daughter would be the same as a nasty margarine beloved by vegetarians....That's him talking, not me!!

zeeboo · 06/06/2012 19:27

Luna, Nola or Opal.

Boysrstupid · 06/06/2012 19:27

Oh McKayz I remember that feeling well. I hated it last time. I thought I was going to be the same again but actually am walking on sunshine (for now!).

There's still time for the worm to turn.

I was booked for elcs at 38 but I begged consultant to change it so am now booked for 41+11. I just know that decision is going to come bk to bite me on the bump Grin

Hope you have your little one in your arms very soon. I'll meet you on the active threads at 3am haha.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/06/2012 19:40

My Oh is called Aubrey. I didnt know it was a unisex name.

smokinaces · 06/06/2012 19:41

Kate.

CheerfulYank · 06/06/2012 19:42

Here (in America) Aubrey is strictly for girls, as is Brynn. :)

MonsieurChatouille · 06/06/2012 19:43

Possibly Daphne or Sadie. I have 3 dds, though, and we have struggled every time. We have 10 joint favourite boys names and no common favourites for girls (except the 3 we have - 2 of which have been mentioned).

SarryB · 06/06/2012 19:44

Matilda nn Tilda

Or Imogen Fay

Itchywoolyjumper · 06/06/2012 19:44

Iris would be one of mine too, Jenski. I love Sileas (pronounced She-lis) but the poor wee girl would always be known as Silly-as unless we moved back to the far north. If I was Welsh I think Nerys would be lovely, I always loved Nerys Hughes on her bicycle in the district nurse thing.
