Following on from the Boys thread I decided to start a girls thread.

If I have a baby girl tomorrow(wishful thinking 38 weeks) she will be called Rosalie Jean.

What would you call your Baby Girl?

Not sure what we are having yet, but our girl name is going to be Lola. It has been a favourite of mine for ages. Just struggling to come up with a middle name!

Frikadellen · 09/07/2012 18:09

Dd1 age 14 says Jana (think Duggars)
Dd2 age 12 says Samantha
Ds age 10 says what what what
Dd3age 8 says Rose

I say Tansy or Honoria or if dh gets involved Illona

NappiesandGladrags · 09/07/2012 23:33

Martha Susannah

If I had another girl (never going to happen!) I would call her;
Beatrice
Cecilly
Harriet or
Clementine

UmmOfUmbridge · 10/07/2012 00:44

Urmm I have 4 girls already but never got to use my bestest names as DH is boring conservative. I'd love a little Clementine or Claudia... Maybe I'll get a dog

Francesca Jane, Frankie for nn

or Beatrice Jane (or Beatrice Elizabeth if BJ too mean as initials...), but not keen on any of the nns.

May put Martha back onto short list though as seeing it here lots of times reminds me how much I like it.

38 weeks today and actually hoping its a boy as have that name sorted...! Thought we had girl's name sorted too but getting cold feet :-(

Kayano · 11/07/2012 13:03

Eden Maria

But DH said no, so would probably end up with

Abby Elizabeth

Darcy Marise or Dylan Marise.

Gottalovecosta · 17/07/2012 18:45

Martha or Bella, but Twilight totally ruined that for me ...

YvonneMcGruder · 17/07/2012 19:18

As I've only ever had to name boy babies, I've never given a girl a name before! Smile
If I had a girl I like Charlotte, Imogen, Ava, and Grace as names.

Lydia Kate, Lydia Eve or Lydia Gail (all middle names very special family members)

Eve · 19/07/2012 09:07

Ellena,

but i have Ds's and plans for no more, so I'll just have to buy another new horse or dog and name that instead.

Stellan · 19/07/2012 09:27

I've replied before but my favourite keeps changing! The current frontrunner is Alice Susannah but I also like Rose, Martha, and Pearl.

Gugglebum · 20/07/2012 00:01

flipflops, I adore Francesca Jane. Don't think I've got the guts to have a little Frankie. :)
For me it would be Daisy Arabella Jane. I've got 4 boys, so we'd be going ultra girly if we had a little lady now.

emdelafield · 20/07/2012 00:25

Alice or Grace. Would make medical history if it did.
Perhaps future DIL (10 years hence)
might say" dearest MIL would you like to name my pfb?"
That would make MN history.
