Isobel is my favourite, but as some on said in the last 10 years it's become very popular. DDs ballet show program has every possible spelling. We have vast numbers of Eva, Evie, Ellen and Ella's too.

I only know one 14 year old Alice so I think that would be my choice.

Hi!!
We have five Ellas, three Avas, two Eves and two Evas locally. Isobel and annabel are also popular. I know a Freya and an Alice but they are less common, I like Kate best- I don't know any Kate babies and Kates are always nice in my experience!!

Kates ARE always nice aren't they!?

Have you looked at the ONS list of top baby names in 2011? It might help you gauge how popular a name is. If you pick something from outside the top 15-20, you'll probably get a name that's common, but not too popular.

In order of preference:
Kate
Alice
Isobel
Eva
Holly
Freya
Evie

A good list - all nice names, but if you want classic I'd favour Kate/Alice/Isobel over Evie or Freya, which feel more faddy.
