DS1 - Shaun William, William after my dad and, if I'd had my way, would have been his first name

DS2- Jason Thomas - Jason after the captain of the Argonauts from Greek mythology

smartiesrule · 25/02/2012 19:50

Matthew Christopher
Didn't choose the 'Matthew' bit and initially hated it, but think it's fab now Smile

JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 25/02/2012 19:50

Edward

  • It's great as everyone knows it but it's not over used. I like the bear associations too from Winnie the Pooh - such great stories which my Daddy read to us as children.

And some great easy short versions ... the cute Eddie for when they're young, and the cool Ed for when he's a teenager/ older. Edward if he wants to impress ! DH sometimes calls him "The edge" too which I hadn't thought of Smile

(But isn't everyone going to out themselves posting their kids names on this thread - second names too !)

chezchaos · 25/02/2012 19:54

DS is Otis.

Can't post middle names as I'd out myself :-)

mellymooks · 25/02/2012 19:55

Flynn Jago

Love it, is the most perfect name Grin

cinnamongreyhound · 25/02/2012 19:56

James Daniel- entirely my choice and I love it, Daniel is my brothers name and I just love James.

Luke Edward- Dh chose ds2's name and it took me a long while to get used to! Edward is my dad and grandad's middle name and wanted to keep the tradition.

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 25/02/2012 19:57

Finn

Jude

Love both Smile

Dennis John, named after dp's dad who passed the year we got together, coincidentally ds was due on the same date.
Although I do think I was tempting fate..

BuntyCollocks · 25/02/2012 20:03

Alexander. Won't put his middle name, I'm afraid, as it would out me irl

DedalusDigglesPocketWatch · 25/02/2012 20:12

Frederick Charles known as Fred. It suits him down to the ground. With my DD I had lots of nicknames for her as it took me a long time to get used to her name being hers iyswim, but Fred is a name I love saying (and believe me, I say it a lot! little bugger)

pinkgirlythoughts · 25/02/2012 20:28

Frederick Benjamin

LucyFarinelli · 25/02/2012 20:29

Noah Alexander

He would happily build and sail an Ark if I'd let him Wink

ceeveebee · 25/02/2012 20:32

Roderick Stanley. Roddy for short. I was a bit unsure when DH first suggested Roddy, but it suits him so much and is unusual too. Stanley is FIL's name.

Bumpsadaisie · 25/02/2012 20:38

I can't tell you what I called DS1 as may well out us... but any future DS2 would probably be Ivo Alexander or Ivo James.

Dalrymps · 25/02/2012 20:41

Dylan McGregor
Miles Elliot

Raahh · 25/02/2012 20:43

Elliot Peter

Still love it, 9 years on.

fishandlilacs · 25/02/2012 20:46

GhastlyBespoke · 25/02/2012 20:48

Rohan Michael.

Michael after my lovely Dad.
DS loves his name too.

MustControlFistOfDeath · 25/02/2012 20:48

Aleksander Franciszek, known as Olek

Tillyscoutsmum · 25/02/2012 20:50

Fergus Alexander Cavendish

snapusdragonus · 25/02/2012 21:03

Oswin Mercurey

Threelittleducks · 25/02/2012 21:04

Thomas Michael Alexander and Ethan David John.

I think Ethan and Alexander are my favourites.
Sometimes I do get all romantic about having a Tom though!

madaboutmadmen · 25/02/2012 21:07

Elis

PutThatCatOutNow · 25/02/2012 21:30

I love both of my boys' names - they are Philip Colin Edward and Rupert Arthur Stephen. Out of them my favourite names are Philip (who is always Pip) and Arthur. I think Pip and Arty would have been great but DS1 just isn't an Arty!

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 25/02/2012 21:40

I am not going to do them in order but I will give you the names of my boys all mixed up.
