My heart says Inigo but my head says Leo... What do you think of both these names? Or other similar ones?

I like Leo but really love Inigo!

LaFilleSurLePont · 01/01/2012 13:30

Leo.

I don't like Inigo at all,and I can't hear that name without wanting to quote that line from The Princess Bride.

LynetteScavo · 01/01/2012 13:42

Leo

pinkappleby · 01/01/2012 13:45

Leo

SnapesMistress · 01/01/2012 14:25

Inigo is horribly pretentious IMO

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/01/2012 14:45

I like Inigo but don't think I'd actually dare use it. Not fond of Leo.

Toobluntforsleighbells · 01/01/2012 14:48

One of the other school mums has just named her new baby Inigo - not overly keen as it sounds so much like 'in you go', but not terrible either. I do like Leo & don't know anyone with that name.

bagelmonkey · 01/01/2012 14:59

Like LaFilleSurLePont, all I'm thinking is: "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!"
But it is a nice name :)

Northernlurker · 01/01/2012 15:00

Inigo!

Or Orlando

peggyblackett · 01/01/2012 15:01

Inigo for me.

AnotherMincepie · 01/01/2012 16:15

I prefer Leo, it sounds more classic and less "trying to be trendy".

kumquatsarethelonelyfruit · 01/01/2012 16:17

Inigo is lovely - Leo is overused nowadays.

TidyDancer · 01/01/2012 16:19

Inigo is horrid IMO. Sorry.

Not overly keen on Leo either tbh, but it is the better of the two.

I suspect that children in the next 5-15 years won't really know The Princess Bride though, to be fair.

Inigo says 'hippy parents' to me - but having said that I probably prefer it to Leo (but then I have definite hippy tendencies)

ViolaCrayola · 01/01/2012 19:12

Love both! Not very helpful sorry. :)

cairnterrier · 01/01/2012 19:15

Umm really sorry, but I keep on misreading Inigo as Indigo.

Probably not much use at all.

Not v keen on Leo either, just makes me think of Tony Blair's youngest son.

lagrandissima · 01/01/2012 19:19

Inigo OK if you're a Spanish speaking family, otherwise a tad pretentious? Leo reminds me of Cheshire-cat-grinning-war-mongerer Blair. Other than that it's a nice name.

NorksAreMessy · 01/01/2012 19:21

Leo

I am afraid, I am ignorant of princess bride but think indigo is pretentious, too

NorksAreMessy · 01/01/2012 19:21

Indigo AND Inigo!!!!
