baby girl one week old and nameless- panic setting in...

So, we did spend the last few months of pregnancy struggling and failing to come up with a girl's name, but since we felt pretty convinced that it was boy anyway, and had a boy's name we loved, I wasn't too worried... then our little surprise girl arrived!

Now in the haze of sleep deprivation, we're beginning to panic. Everything sounds wrong, nothing seems right. Help, please?

The boy's name we had in mind was Bram, and we already have a DD named Juniper, just to give you a sense for what orbit we're in. We'd like a longer name with nickname option.

Some names we've considered but blocked on (with apologies in advance for stepping on people's toes with my comments).

Cleo, short for Cleopatra or Clementine-
every time I try it out, I mix it up with Chloe in my mind..also, fear it's becoming very popular

Saskia, with the nickname Kia -
just doesn't seem to fit baby somehow (in looks)

Twyla (as in Twlya Tharpe)

Willa, nickname Billie
I'm not crazy about the W sound, DH likes it, but worries about playground
'Willie' teasing potential...possibly Sybil/Billie

Indigo, with nickname Indie/ or Indira/Indie
A little too hippy-ish for me

Ivy
Doesn't sound great with surname, seems a little too breezy and short to me for an adult woman

other names that have come up in the past-- Linden, Pascale, Petra, Eliza

I'd love to hear any thoughts people have about these but also any ideas you have based on what we've been thinking...I'm hoping something here will help job my brain into action!

I love the names mentioned above! Name that have made an appearance on my shortlist in the last few months are

Aurora (nn Rori)
Hero/Hera
Juno
Calypso
Ines
Camille
Tamsin
Saffron
Violet
Fern
Nora

Sorry it's such a long name, that's everything we've considered!

FWIW I think Clementine works really well with Juniper (I may be a bit biased though as I have one myself). There are lots of other nn's you can use - Clem, Clemmie, Emmie, Minty, Tiny.....

I like Saskia but not sure that it works with Juniper - that said, names don't need to 'go' do they?

Willa would make a fab mn - not especially keen on it in the fn spot.

Twyla feels a bit made up and I agree Indigo is a bit hippyish but then Juniper isn't mainstream is it? I do find Indigo a bit masculine as well.

Ivy and Juniper......too themey.

How about:

Juniper and Prudence
Juniper and Rosamund
Juniper and Ianthe
Juniper and Olive (ditto Ivy)
Juniper and Verity
Juniper and Marguerite
Juniper and Mirabel
Juniper and Beatrix
Juniper and Christabel
Juniper and Delphine
Juniper and Harlow
Juniper and Dorothea
Juniper and Estella
Juniper and Margot
Juniper and Emerald
Juniper and Isadora
Juniper and Viola
Juniper and Ione
Juniper and Hebe
Juniper and Lilith

Any there strike a chord?

Not keen on Cleo, Twyla or Willa
Saskia, Petra and Eliza re fine - not sure they "go" with the feel of Juniper though but Indigo does.

Skimming through other suggestions - Sorrell sounds right. Merryn and Romillly also seem to "fit".
