girls names need an outside opinion!!!

Hi, me and my partner both have names we're pretty sure of problem is neither of us agree on the others choices!!! So any opinions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!! We already have a daughter, Lola and are expecting another girl.....

Ruby
Ava
Kacey

Ruby is the nicest, although quite popular.

I prefer Lexie with an e on the end if you do go for that though. I recently read The Hand That First Held Mine (by Maggie O'Farrell) and the lead character is called Lexie, short for Alexandra.

I like Ruby or Ava best (although both becoming quite popular now), followed by Lexi

You don't know anybody with a child under 12 called Ruby? REALLY? Where do you live?

I suggest not another L name (I don't like themes, generally). And Ava maybe also too similar to Lola, too (in a 2 child family).

I know at least one child under 10 with each of those names, except Lacey. Spelling on Kacey/Casey varies widely; KC probably my fave from your list.

I'm in Glasgow. I know 1 Ruby who is 79yo! Always dismissed it as old fashioned. Same with Ava. There just isn't enough names! Think its back to the drawing board so far.....

I love Ava, ruby is my next favourite. I do think it depends on where you live as to the more popular names.

I definitely agree Moanna, region does seem to play a massive part in popularity.

Not loving any of them, but like Ava. I'm really with your DP on Lacey.

Lacey and Kacey are my least favourites. Ichlodge I'm in Northern Ireland and I don't know any baby Rubys either, know quite a few Granny Rubys . Out of your list I like Ava and Ruby the best.
