votes please! Due in a week and can't make my mind up!

I like Immy and Midge as cute nns for Imogen... Can't really think of cute nns for Tabitha... I know they might come with time so not worried too much about this.

Thank you!

Sorry, perhaps I'm getting old, but Tabitha is a cat.

I love Imogen (it was on my list for DD2) and Immy is very close to both my DDs pet names Smile

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 06/05/2011 13:12

I prefer Imogen, not keen on nickname Tabby.

MsChanandlerBong · 06/05/2011 13:15

I agree with the cat comments - and think Imogen is a beautiful name.

MoshiMonstersRUs · 06/05/2011 13:17

Imogen is a lovely name.

pilates · 06/05/2011 13:17

Imogen lovely name.

Agree cat springs to mind with Tabitha.

moodyblues · 06/05/2011 13:19

Love both of them but I prefer Tabitha.

MrsHerculePoirot · 06/05/2011 13:19

Imogen

MelinaM · 06/05/2011 14:00

Imogen is lovely, but it is quite popular at the mo! I much prefer Tabitha, it's a beautiful name, and few and far between tooSmile

BibiBelle · 06/05/2011 14:25

I love Tabitha nn Bitsy

belbos · 06/05/2011 14:43

Both nice but Imogen is my favourite.

Nancy66 · 06/05/2011 15:44

Tabitha - imogen more popular and a bit boring.

MercurySoccer · 06/05/2011 16:06

Imogen.

Tabitha is a cat's name.

LuckyWeKeptTheCot · 06/05/2011 16:18

Tabitha is a cat's name or a 50s witch but it's the one I like best. Maybe because every other girl seems to be called Imogen at the moment so I'm fed up with it. But then DS is called the same name as his two best friends...

TheVisitor · 06/05/2011 16:21

Tabitha is very Enid Blyton.

emmanumber3 · 06/05/2011 16:28

I have a 36 year old friend called Imogen and, although we've been good friends since the age of 3, I really can't stand the name. Blush. Even more so for an adult. It might sound better for a little girl but a grown adult called Immy? Really? Sorry, just my opinion but having heard the name used through almost all stages of life, I can't stand it.

I don't suppose she likes my name much either Grin. Lovely person though.

Tidey · 06/05/2011 16:34

Not that keen on either, sorry, but I know a very sweet little Imogen, so I'd go for that.

ragged · 06/05/2011 16:35

Imogen sounds ridiculously posh to me, or a spoilt brat, or probably both. And no, I don't know any, not sure I've ever met any. Just has that poncetastic ring to it.

(Apologies to owners of Imogens, you should see the things written about DC's names on here)

ragged · 06/05/2011 16:35

"Midge" as nn? As in the flying horrid biting invisible insect? Shock

ithaka · 06/05/2011 16:39

My Imogen is an Idgie (or more usually Squidge/Squidgie in the family). It suits her, she is squidgie and idgie. (Rather tragically, I based the nn on Idgie Threadgood in Fried Green Tomatoes)

TabithaTwitchet · 06/05/2011 16:48

Tabitha is great! ;-)

Firawla · 06/05/2011 16:53

both are nice, I think I would prefer Imogen but quite like both

ajandjjmum · 06/05/2011 16:58

I think Imogen is beautiful - Tabitha's a bit too furry.

crazybutterflylady · 07/05/2011 19:02

Thanks all.... Even more confused than ever! Just can't decide!

One of my dds is named Imogen. Love, love, love it still. Mind you, I might feel differently if it was very common, but it isn't up here. We don't know another child by the name.

heartsnflowers · 07/05/2011 19:05

Imogen makes me think -strong,creative,unusual
Tabitha sounds a bit weak maybe it is just the ones I know and yes cats-sorry
