votes please! Due in a week and can't make my mind up!

I like Immy and Midge as cute nns for Imogen... Can't really think of cute nns for Tabitha... I know they might come with time so not worried too much about this.

Thank you!

Imogen for me- really pretty

GoingLoopyLou · 07/05/2011 19:13

Tabitha definitely! You can shorten to Tabs.

cheapFlower · 07/05/2011 19:21

one more for Imogen!

Newbabynewmum · 07/05/2011 21:23

My 7mo is tabitha. I love it. Obvs a bit biased. No one has made the cat connection really - well they did right at the start! I think it's a really beautiful name & a bit different (but not too different!) go for it! X

LynetteScavo · 07/05/2011 21:28

Imogen.

PorkChopSter · 07/05/2011 21:29

Tabitha

ChippingIn · 07/05/2011 21:30

Imogen

Agree with Tabitha being a cat :)

heliumballoons · 07/05/2011 21:44

I love both.

I like Immy for a nn for Imogen.

My cousin is Tabitha - shes a real fighter born at 23 weeks and fine. Grin

tigana · 07/05/2011 21:47

I like them both. I knew someone (adult) who was Imogen, known as "Imo".

Tabitha is a little catty ( Tabitha Twitchett, it's all bloody Beatrix Potters fault!!) but I still like it. After all boys are called Tom and Benjamin and no one says "Tom Kitten" or "Benjamin Bunny"....?

robincousins · 07/05/2011 21:48

tabitha is lovely

not keen on imogen at all

My friends Tabitha is bethy...

bigbluebump · 23/05/2011 18:37

Tabitha is more beautiful, more feminine and less commonly used. Imogen sounds very harsh (I think it is the -en ending) and just doesn't sound pretty to my ears. I'm surprised it is quite popular in the UK.

Tabitha will also sound much nicer in other languages, whereas Imogen won't imo.

Lots of names are used by pets, Oscar, Timmy, Rex, Kitty, Felix, but they're still allowed to be used for humans Grin.

rachel234 · 24/05/2011 16:30

Tabitha is more feminine and less overused imo.

Cutiecat · 24/05/2011 23:05

Have you had your baby and if so ehat did you call her?

KoolAidKid · 25/05/2011 00:08

Tabitha is much nicer than Imogen, we nearly chose it for DD but the lack of good nicknames put us off, Tabby seems a bit unavoidable.

crazybutterflylady · 26/05/2011 09:11

I had my baby on Tuesday! She is called Tabitha :)

the Imogen Thomas/Ryan Giggs thing swung it!

Tabitha a great choice, but I am rather biased ;)

Ours is Tabs, Tabbi, Tabsy, Tath (from ds)

Still love it.
