I have DH with UC, so not quite the right person to start!

I'm willing to take on ITP, as I've had it for 21+ years now.

Maybe we should have a paragraph explaining what AI disease is. I was gobsmacked when a close friend, over 10 years after my diagnosis - and despite various conversations on the subject - with some such conditions, told me she didn't know what autoimmune meant. I suspect my husband doesn't have a clue either.

Hello,have posted asking a question. I don't have an autoimmune disease but have a daughter who is currently ravaged by Ankylosing Spondylitis, a son being investigated for Sarcoidosis and a sister with MS which makes me concerned as to who is next tbh.

Ive got a daughter with a rare autoimmune encephalitis. Epilepsy and diabetes.

psoriatic arthritis here. also had a weird 2 years of chronic neutropenia which eventually just resolved itself.

In my family we have lots of autoimmune but we all have something different. Between us we have RA, IBD, Diabetes, CD, Sarcordocis, Chron's.

Hello, this is nice and new! I have RA and PsA , the Rheumatoid arthritis since I was 4 so a long time now.

I volunteer with young kids and others who have various forms of auto immune conditions.

It's a bit shit at the moment really,I feel like an old lady as I'm in the middle of a flare. I'm 36 and feeling well sorry for myself today

i'm 44 and only just had my psoriatic arthritis diagnosed. starting methotrexate soon - anyone got any cheering tales about it?

Dh has AS & Iritis. I'm not quite in this bracket but have EDS-HMS & Fibromyaligia.

Lupus and Fibromyalgia here, diagnosed 20 years ago with Lupus. Only a few years ago with Fibromyalgia.

Resulting with severe Costochonderitis for the last 3 years.

Vitelligo, mixed connective tissue disease, pernicious anaemia and coeliac. My Rheumy says I only just miss out on meeting the fibromyalgia criteria, but he no longer cares about diagnoses only treatment - I love him.

Crohnie here, with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, an inflamed hip joint, endometriosis, costochondritis, tinnitus and a breast cancer survivor. I keep thinking I ought to leave my body to medical science.

My sister has RA, and DP has psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Exwife the methotrexate has really helped DP, one of his finger joints was double the size it should have been, and it is slowly reducing in size.

Oops, forgot to mention the vitamin B12 deficiency as well.
