Have trotted down to the post office this morning and posted your B&P's finally. Dingle is kindly going to take a photo of the B&P's and upload it for me, as I can't get a decent picture.

Just sat down for a quick cuppa before collect dd from SN nursery. Haven't managed much card making so far this week. Had a home visit for dd yesterday, another one this afternoon and tomorrow we are at the hospital for Speech & Language!!!

Sorry to hear that you haven't had much time, I'm just having a coffee and contemplating cleaning the loo's or making a card for my mums' friend who is in hospital, I know what I'd rather do, but feel guilty as I'm getting a whole 3 hours off tonight to do scrapbooking.
I meant to write you a note with the B&P's. My dad was born and bred in Rochester and lived there until he moved to Bath and met my mum. His cousin used to live at Valerian Close, which must be near you, if I remember rightly. Small world. Anyway must get on with that job I keep stalling!!!

Dingle and kkgirl, your envelopes are sitting here in front of me - I'm waiting for DS to wake up so we can have lunch, then nip to the post office. They're going first class, so hopefully will be with you tomorrow! Hope the bits and pieces are OK - haven't done one of these before. When do I upload my pics of the B&P? And my finished card from them? And my finished cards from the B&P I've been sent? Ooh, I'm just full of questions today!

Haven't felt too well for ages now- just a cold which is taking an age to clear. So instead of studying I've just made my 2 cards up whilst watching 'this morning', enjoyed working with the lovely papers and finding objects to work the wire around!

When do we put them up on the site?

Oh and meant to apologise for not sending my bits in proper card pockets, I've never sold them you see but I was quite impressed with them and reckon they would be worth it for keeping the cards nice until I used them.

You can upload your B&P's now, and then when your gang have all finished their cards then you can put on your original. AQ will let us know, all the B&P's can go on now, and then once everyone has their stuff, it goes from there.

I haven't sent mine in proper card pockets either...

Just wondering...both lots of B&P I received are Happy Birthday ones, as are the B&P I'm just off to post. Was this theme specifically Father's Day or just 'cards suitable for a man'?

no, just suitable for men, altho' most could easily be adapted for FD by changing the wording

Only sent mine in pockets coz it was that or a nappy bag!!! AT least the pockets didn't smell I guess. (We use washables. Smelly nappy sacks VV important to me).

Hope yto get a bit of time this weekend for card making, but assignements to do for: Maths, Study Skills, English, History and Psychology.

Dior and JM, glad to hear your packages arrived safely,I have upoaded the b&p's of one - it's in the challenges folder now.AQ decided for me! I was cussing at the end of last week - time was not elastic enough for me, but now I've done it and I must say I really enjoyed the challenge- well done AQ for getting it up and running and sorting everyone out!

kkgirl, I love the mesh. I think I have the same peel offs somewhere!! I have had them a while but never got around to using them. So I have the perfect reason to try now!

Did my first scrapbooking card last night, and am still on a high. It was fantastic, we did two layouts and I can't wait to go again.

kkgirl, I really try not to look at it like that. When you look at other crafter's work, they look so much better than mine, but then again, everyone has their own style and what some people like others don't. When I compare the work I did when I first started to what I do now, I can see how much I have improved and that is what keeps me going. Cardmaking is so diverse-that's what helps make it so enjoyable.

I have taken a pic, but not loaded it yet. Haven't checked, has your other CC got theirs today too.

Haven't heard from my other CC partner yet.
I don't mean that I look upon the card challenge as a competition, I did enjoy doing the first one, but you can recognise who has more experience at cardmaking, which is good, because looking at how other people have done it inspires you.

Exactly kkgirl. It's all about sharing experience, techniques, ideas...pretty much like any other aspect of MN really!

Sorry, forgot to post about your Scrapbooking too. I am glad you enjoyed it. Did you learn much? Can you apply some of the ideas to your cards?

I still haven't had my second bundle yet? Is it on its way, or has Mr Postie been up to his usual and it's in the canal.

I have 2 pis of bits & pieces to load. Am I OK to load them, has everyone got their B&Ps.
