Good home wanted for appletree blanket

I made this blanket for Giddykipper's ds and it was exceedingly nice but very expensive.
So, when I did one for my dd's new baby I got some Jaeger Roma, which was equally nice and much cheaper, BUT... it must be handwashed.
I have spoken to dd and she says that, terrible as it sounds, she doesn't want baba to get attached to a blanket that must be handwashed. I think this is most reasonable, so I have a spare appletree blanket up for grabs. The cost, including postage is £20. It will be up for a week and if there is more than one request I will put the names on pieces of paper and ask dh to draw one.

Have catted you my address!

Well, we did it as fairly as we could, dh and I. the pieces of paper were so folded up that I couldn't see who was who, he had no idea who was who and he just drew out one of them. Or rather he drew two and then threw one back. I opened it and it was Beagle101. Sorry EffiePerine (Wonkyknitter) and Dizzydixies, I frequently wish I could knit so fast that I could both of you a blanket before Christmas.

Ooooh - thank you, have catted you.

Ah well, will just have to try knitting it myself at some point .

Am currently trying to finish DH's jumper as he is looking pointedly at the icy weather and muttering that I won't have time to knit once the baby is here... 1 1/2 sleeves to go. Thank goodness it's mostly plain knitting and aran wool!
