Moon sand, yes or no?!

My daughter (8) is desperate for moon sand. Is it worth it. Is she too old? Reviews on Amazon aren't very favourable.

making mud pies is better!!!

NO!!!! don't get it, it's rubbish. Stains the clothes, doesn't come out of carpet. Stays for ages in the grass/patio.
Get normal play sand. Much more fun and cleaner!

Plenty of opportunities for fine motor movements trying to catch bugs as well!
