Dress making fabric - where's good online?

I'm looking for something like lightweight wool for some winter wrap skirts. I can find loads of upholstery type fabric but nothing lighter.

Where's everyone buying their fabric these days?

I blame this thread for my online spend this afternoon...🤔😄

Has anyone mentioned gathernsew.co.uk? Great range of fabric and really friendly service. I also like rainbowfabrics.co.uk and craftysewandso.com

You’ve had some good recommendations already, but there’s also FabWorks Mill who often have wools, and Dalston Mill fabrics as a general recommendation.

Once you’ve finished your shopping come join the sewing thread @BeBraveAndBeKind www.mumsnet.com/talk/arts_and_crafts/4621767-stitch-and-bitch-thread-5-this-whole-thing-is-fabricated

Masons of Abingdon have an online store now. They are a great little fabric shop and worth a visit if you're anywhere nearby. www.masonsfabric.com/shop-10?page=2

I am very lucky to live close to Masons (there are three separate shops in town - fabric, craft/cross stitch/baking, knitting) - definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I haven't used their online shop but have heard it's very good.
