I signed up to become a member about ten days ago and thought yesterday to check how far I'd got. They don't know me. So I signed up again. And checked again. They still don't know me. What have I got to do to even get on the list?

I had that too and just gave up! Maybe they have too many waiting to become members or something.

That was when I joined up at about 10am this morning...NOW it reads:

Bundle just got in and she was about 580 behind the day before, so it does move quickly. That's odd though, DutchOma and joyful. Can you email Casey directly I wonder?

I'm on there - perhaps the list is getting too big to handle now?

It took about a month for me to get in after signing up, but it was a nice surprise when I got the invite as I'd forgotten about it! But that was back in November. I think they do about 700 a day?

It's just that I signed up twice with the same e.mail address and they say they don't know me when I check where I am on the list. I have even e.mailed them and had no answer.

I would like to show my Fair Isles jumpers off, Etsy has not really come off, apart from the fact that I'm doing a hat fro Greebo at the moment.

That was good advice Miaou. They have now added me to the list. When I checked I was the last on the list and more than 7000 before me but hey, I'd never have got to the top when I wasn't on it.

I signed up on 11/1/08, and there are 2836 people in front of me. So thats about 40 days till I get in?

Now it says 91% have been invited.

So what happens when there are "100% invited"..does that mean the ones still one the waiting list don't get in?

I don't think they'll put a limit on it Dingle ... surely not?

Dingle, it's going to be open to all before long- it's just the beta testing phase at the moment and then absolutely anyone can join, so don't worry! People are already chuntering because all their posts and pics are going to be freely available on the web, but the people who run it just say that's the whole point

I've signed up again too. Hopefully this time it'll work!

I checked straight away and they 'found' me. There were no people behind me at that point, but I checked again and there were 33. I don't even quite know why I want to be on it apart from everybody on here saying it is so marvellous.

Ive just got my invite! So thats pretty quick considering I only registered interest on 11th Jan.
Im going to wait until I get home to sign in properly, and savour the moment
