These fabrics don't go, do they?

I ordered these to make a duvet cover for DD.

The dragon panel is too narrow for the duvet cover so I'd planned to put the sky one as a border to make up the width and length around it. It looked ok in my photoshop collage, but now I've seen them in real life, I'm not so sure they go. Would I be better surrounding the dragons in a plain colour? If so, which colour would you try to match - dark or light?

Remember it's for a teenager, not us older women. The mix prints is younger & more fashionable, whatever anyone else's personal taste is

They're 10 and may still have good taste 😆

I missed that but, but my comment still applies & with decades of successful design experience behind me, especially high fashion, I'm still confident that the mixed print is fresher, more current & better suited to someone under mid 20s. It's not for us old fuddy duddys 👍🏻

Is this a surprise for your DD? I would just ask her which she prefers. Even if you wanted it to be a surprise for her I think it would be better to just let her choose.

Could you make it so it’s reversible so your dd can choose?
