KNITTING LADIES WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!

If any of you fancy a knitting project keep your knees warm on cold winter nights in front of the telly..... my mum and her local branch of the Mothers Union are trying to turn out some cot blankets for the local neo-natal units here in Devon, they are in desperate need of them. It is very easy, either knit or crochet a 18" or 22" square, and that is it, no need for stitching together etc. Any colour accepted, add a pattern or a strip if you so desire, what ever you feel able to do.

If you can help please let me know on this thread.

Leggylil I am using Double Knit with 4mm needles, that should be fine, but check on the labels to make sure.

(I am not sure mine is going to be a perfect square... but should be fine for baby-warming )

thnx tatties.....now what sort of colours? cos at the mo i dont have any lol need to do a bit of a stock up of wool

I think any colour is fine. I am using a pale mint green.

Thank you to all the novice knitters that have joined in. Any colour and style are fine. I have done one white, one coloured and am now doing one bright red. Im getting a bit excited now thinking we are now going to have all of these lovely coloured blankets to give to the hospital.

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about this! I have been really busy last week so didn't make much progress, but I'm cracking on with it again now. Shouldn't be too long
