Oooooo, went a bit soon.

Am trying to make a leaf shape that is my hand sized sorta

this stitch what is it called in UK terms, and what would be a bigger one?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2013 16:10

tis for a yarn bomb

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2013 16:10

That stitch is going a bit wonky, more like a ladder tbh [busad]

SoupDreggon · 30/03/2013 16:21

I think it's known as a very extended treble :)

It appears to be a triple treble. I imagine it's going to look quite loose.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2013 16:28

Tis a bit rubbish actually Soupy Sad

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2013 16:30

Have found a pattern, am going to try it - it has ^^ this stitch in though. I shall frog my leaf.

How are you lovely Soupy?

SoupDreggon · 30/03/2013 16:35

I am absolutely fine, despite having had to disown my mother as she has chosen to knit blanket squares. FFS.

You?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2013 16:36

All very well and looking forward to a big choccy binge tomorrow, thank you [busmile]

A Dragon, a knitter??!!

SoupDreggon · 30/03/2013 16:43

She can crochet but has chosen to knit. I am deeply revolted Wink

ThePigOfHappiness · 30/03/2013 19:22

Every so often I think I might knit squares as I'd really like a cabled blanket. Then I remember that I'm shit at it and stick to crochet.

SoupDreggon · 30/03/2013 21:17

You can do crocheted cabling with front/back post stitches. It's not quite the same as knitted cabling though.

ThePigOfHappiness · 30/03/2013 23:07

I know. Maybe I can convince a knitter to do a swap?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/04/2013 08:13

Morning Brew Smile

How are you Soupy? You a knitter yet?

SoupDragon · 02/04/2013 08:27

One knitter in the Dragon family is plenty :o

Hope to post my Little Hug this week. If I remember.

Deramores are doing 15% off Stylecraft yarn with code STWK :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/04/2013 13:50

Tis here lovely Soupy and it's gorgeous!! Makes me think of Jamie dodgers and very happily so. Will do fb pics as soon as DD off the computer. She is restarting revision at 2.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/04/2013 13:52

Soupy, is iit for Billies Blankets or LH?

SoupDragon · 04/04/2013 13:52

They are indeed Jammy Dodgers :)

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 04/04/2013 13:53

I'm not fussed where it goes really. It may be best as a Little Hug as they are more likely to recognise the biscuit.

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/04/2013 13:58

Thank you - a Little Hug it is then, I am hooting at Jamie Dodger, who the fuck is he?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/04/2013 13:58

DD and I love the JaMMy Dodgers and now want one

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/04/2013 13:59

Right am on the computer, we are go

SoupDragon · 04/04/2013 14:10

Is a Jamie dodger someone who tries to avoid an Essex chef?
