It's floor length for my DD (about 5ft2)

It isn't here or I'd measure it

Damn I need to buy it tonight

don't feel like a prat! you'll know how to do it now if you need to, and we all learned how to find the circumference of a circle!

am off to see the dress now :)

look at your beautiful dd! she is lovely. I wish I knew how to dance. I had a boyfriend who did ballroom dancing who tried and failed to even teach me any basic steps :(
a lot of hard work has gone into that dress, well done you :)

KatyMac · 22/03/2012 21:28

Not really.....The dress was a prom dress we bought on eBay - we just 'adapted it' (see here)

& the biggest job (the godets) were done my DD's partners mum

So it's been an easy job for me, ribbon threading, bit of ribbon sewing and hemming (still got metres to go)

The next dress; now that is a lot of work!!!
