And a few dies for it. From the shop that won't be mentioned but hopefully it will all turn up!

I've also bought some great brads and eyelets from a US supplier who only charges $5 delivery charge.

Oh and lots of other bits and pieces too!

That's all my Christmas money spent, but looking forward to spending the winter months getting into a new hobby

Customs charge is pot luck - sometimes you get charged, sometimes you don't. It's only equivalent to VAT plus maybe a handling charge I think.

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 14:34

Maybe I'll get all our Disney World photos in an album now...

JayzMummy · 07/01/2006 14:43

I thought you were not charged customs if the total order inc P&P was less than £50 sterling????

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 14:49

Heaven knows, I always assume it's pot luck and am prepared to pay it if it happens. I wuld have thought the orders were generally small enough though as you can bring back that sort of value from a trip can't you?

champs · 07/01/2006 15:48

it is over £18.

it does seem to be a matter of luck wether or not you get charged or not.

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 18:36

Well, mine's under £18 at today's exchange rate

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 18:37

and it's been shipped already!

soapbox · 07/01/2006 19:16

Thanks Soupie.

Oops mine was a bit more than £18!

Oh well, I'm only starting out so I have to buy it all from scratch (says she convincing herself)!
