And a few dies for it. From the shop that won't be mentioned but hopefully it will all turn up!

I've also bought some great brads and eyelets from a US supplier who only charges $5 delivery charge.

Oh and lots of other bits and pieces too!

That's all my Christmas money spent, but looking forward to spending the winter months getting into a new hobby

OOOooo - we expect a full review !
The dies look really great - some really good designs !!

pootlepod · 05/01/2006 21:11

We will expect full piccies....

soapbox · 05/01/2006 21:27

I think I'll be needing some help from all of you! I haven't a clue what I'm doing.

I'll let you know when it all arrives and which dies I have and I can cut some for you if you want!

I'm just waiting to here if they've got any of the alphabet dies in for it yet, as that was what I really wanted.

I bought a few of the thin cut dies as they are only £4.25 each which isn't too bad compared to what I was paying for precut shapes.

Which alphabet dies you waiting for soapbox? Have been ringing around for good offers on alphabet dies this afternoon.

soapbox · 05/01/2006 22:28

Poodlepod - probably mac'n'cheese or curly girly ones

pootlepod · 05/01/2006 22:38

I like the mac and cheese one! I forgot you are now able to get big shot alphabets, I was looking at normal sizzix ones. I bought the vowelplay set for £45.

soapbox · 05/01/2006 22:43

They are nice aren't they!

I'm going to be hopeless waiting for all my bits to arrive

soapbox · 06/01/2006 18:04

here you go!

I bought loads of stuff but only found it because I was looking for helicopter brads, as I'm doing a LO of a trip we made to RNAD Culdrose!

Still, I got some lovely baby bits, for when I get round to doing some of the children's books from when they were babies!

that US site has some gorgeous bits and pieces. I've got to the checkout and it's about $50 (it's annoying that it doesn't calculate total tho). I'm hesitating... can't justify it... really, really wanna purchase!!

BUT... if anyone else is going to place an order, please let me know because I must, must, must have the mickey mouse ears .

kiwibella · 06/01/2006 20:18

... and it's all on sale!!!!

kiwibella · 06/01/2006 21:33

bloody well did it. I get the mickey ears and some other funky bits!!

soapbox · 06/01/2006 22:46

Oh no! I missed the MM ears and that would go so well with my Florida LO I'm planning

If any one else is going to order can you get some for me and I'll send you the dosh!

Thanks!

JayzMummy · 06/01/2006 23:02

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 10:26

Soapbox - how may MM ears do you want? They're in packs of 12.

soapbox · 07/01/2006 12:57

Oh Soupie - a pack of 12 would be perfect!

Thanks!

Let me know how much - you need to wait and see whether we get charged customs duty on the parcel first though - otherwise I'll be underpaying you

OP posts:
kiwibella · 07/01/2006 14:13

customs duty?!?!?!?!?! What da.... . I was laughing so loud at this thread that dh now knows about my spend last night .

kiwibella · 07/01/2006 14:21

SB - there was another site I looked at last night which was like a disney retailer. They had all sorts of MM papers and products... but not the brads. I'll see if I can find again.

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 14:24

I doubt the customs charge will be much on a packet of brads!! I just hope I've not ordered too much to fit in their specified envelope size ...

SoupDragon · 07/01/2006 14:25

They are, I hope these ones

kiwibella · 07/01/2006 14:29

this

it took me a couple of tries to get to the site because it seems to be down atm for updating.

kiwibella · 07/01/2006 14:30

I don't know anything about customs charges (and didn't even think about it when I placed the order). Those MM brads are the ones I ordered.

I'm a total MM fan Love him!!
