I have seen in our local paper an ad for a local small craft fair next month not too far away. Its £15 a stall & I am just working out if I have enough confidence (& cards !) to give it a go. Has anyone done anything like this, how much did it cost v how much did you sell ?

It's all a bit scary !

went past our local crafty place (Ok over priced shop selling fake handmade cards and odds and sods to the toursts in summer)- bracelets like yours start at £15 and go up quite rapidly.

Well I took the plunge & applied for a stall today !! Decided to focus mostly on jewellery & jewellery cards.
Thanks for all you encouragement & I'm going to go with your display idea Pootlepod

Can I just add that the PTA that I am on would love to have these kind of stalls at their fetes. So if your school is having an Xmas fete, you'd probably do quite well.
We were supposed to be having a handmade jewellery lady come to ours yesterday but she didn't confirm, and everyone had been really looking forward to buying her stuff!

Yes - the school fayre is a few weeks after - so I will ask ! I'll post my latest (hopefully more professional !) cards in the MN Gallery for comment

Whizzz. Good luck and dont forget to find time to make up some business cards to hand out so potential customers will be able to contact you in the future.
