Is anyone ready yet for another challenge???

With Christmas around the corner maybe we could make that our theme???

I will put mine on after lunch, not as good as corals though.

I havnt recieved my second lot of b&p's yet, hope they come soon, cant wait to make another card.

Hi marne, don't run your design down. The whole idea to me is to create something different and share ideas. I find it amazing to see what else others make, sharing ideas is all the fun of it.

I have still only recieved one lot of B&Ps too! Was all eager when Mr Postie rang the bell this morning only to find that it was a package for DH. He has sent off for some weasle thing from Capital radio!

Ok its on there, pictures not to good, cant see the holly leaves very well but they are there.

Marne, I love your card. To me it is very brave to do, what is to me, an abstract design. Nearly all my cards are very simple backgrounds with a central embellishment of some sort. What I call "safe" cards.

I have loaded my original now, so you can see where tha bit of brown card came into play!A bit different from "my norm" so please be open and honest with critism...I can take it!

Oooooooooooo, have phoned home and DH has informed me that I have B&P's. Can't wait to get home and look at everyones cards. Not allowed Yahoo from work.

it won't be the B&P from me UCM as they only went in the post today. SORRY. i had it in my mind that the deadline was friday as in previous challenges, it just didn't click that the 12th wasn't friday. i did put 2 X 1st class stamps on to compensate though. when you open it take care as there are 2 small circles in there that are crucial, well sort of, can't give too much away

Just been over to Yahoo to check out the cards with Dingles b&p's. I really like the original Dingle - did not even occur to me to think of a Christmas Tree. Now I know why the letters for "Merry" were separate, and there I was cursing you under my breath trying to get them to behave and line up properly before my Christmas!! How did you do the design on the edge of the tag by the way - is it pen or pin pricking?

I also really like Marne's abstract design - totally different again and somehing I would not even have attempted - I never know where to start with these! It has worked really well.

When you see the 3 cards together in the "final" gallery is is totally fascinating to see how they are all completely different. Just from these b&p's alone I have learnt far more than I would have done from any magazine as to how to put things together! So thankyou Jayzmum for organising this.

Just waiting for my other set of b&p's to arrive so I can educate myself in the diverse art of card making some more!

These challenges are great as you get things that you might not have bought before & then have to work out what to do with them !

Coral- So where's the "brown?"

Ha - cunningly used as a backing for the little presenty thing in the middle of the card - what makes you think I was desperate to get it in anywhere?

Hopefully I'm going to sit down later with Marnes B&Ps & see what I can come up with - thats if I can prise myself away from here before Lost comes on the telly !

Coral....I wont take any credit for organising this latest challenge. The challenges are AQ's idea but she is so busy ATM that she couldnt dedicate the time AND take part. We could never have a challenge without AQ taking part, so I offered to "look after her baby" so she could join in the fun.

I now understand just how much time it takes to plan and set up and will take my hat off to AQ for running the previous challenges (as well as working and being a Mum.)

they are a lot harder than anyone can imagine.
well not difficult but just time-consuming. in a nice way of course. there are some sites that charge you to join challenges and swaps . i hope we never go down that line

Oooo, worn out, trying to send pic of Bloody Barbie card (see pink feathers thread) to friend so she can get excited too. It all went wrong and pics were big etc, etc.
