YANBU, Matt Smith is much better looking than David Tennant. In fact Matt Smith quite resembles my DP when we first met (12 years ago, so DP not looking quite as young now!)

I think for me it's less about straight out good looks, more about charisma. And I think Matt Smith has lots!

Wouldn't look twice at skinny pasty faced men who didn't have the decency to be born in the same decade as me- but suddenly have a mummy crush on MS and his lovely twinkly eyes!
