I should explain firstly DH works in broadcasting/entertainment. I found out through my BIL's facebook that my DH (His bro) has posted a You Tube video of him singing a comedy song he wrote about a woman he worked with a while ago. It's all about how he fancies her and even starts off along the lines of... I like women a lot but I'm not happy with the one I've got. Now I know it's his work and everything, and I don't think he really fancies this woman, but I can't help feel a bit put out and upset - especially because we haven't been getting on very well lately and I feel the sentiment of him not being happy with the woman he's got is probably true.

i can't view that on this computer unfortunately, but as 'imsonottelling' mentions already, it's a completely different set of circumstances. So not much point my judging that really.

Oh no, I wouldn't have outed someone like that.
As I've said before it's down to individual perspectives.
I don't see a difference in the circumstances (from what we've been told) the op even states that she doesn't even think he does fancy her,that it's for work and that it's clearly a comedy song however you clearly do see a difference.

The sarah silverman one was done as a joke for her OH, with her OHs mate, who was also in on it. It was shown to her OH on TV IIRC, so she was obviously pretty sure that he would see the joke.

This one has been done for other people, and she was not even told about it. To find out by chance that there is a video of your OH on the internet singing about how he doesn't fancy you and fancies someone else is just depressing.

There is a difference, for sure, I think.
