...you shouldnt be putting your washing in a tumble drier (every wash) and then complain that your skint...

Just seen my friend for a quick cuppa, and was amazed to see her load her tumble drier full and wack it on...

I mean, its like 26 degrees here glorious sun shine,

I asked why she didnt have a washing line, she laughed and said that shes not a washer woman and its just easier to bung it in the tumble.

However, later on, she started to tell me how her and her DP are getting a bank loan to help them pay off some debts and they are struggling a bit ...

I think it´s more a question of moaning about money.

Am I unusual in enjoying hanging washing out?(blush]

I have something in my tenancy agreement about not hanging washing out. I do hang it out anyway. It's not like my landlord comes to check and it doesn't leave marks or anything.

I don't have a line outside and never have done since leaving home. I use the tumble dryer for towels and underwear - I used to hate line dried towels, so hard! And I use an airer in the utility room for the rest.

Mind, neither do I moan about money to firends either.

OMG is it normal to take your pegs off the line between washes? I'd never even heard of that! Now I'm wondering if I'm known as the hussy of the street

I do hang out a lovely washing though - all organised by owner/type so it's easy to take off, pile up and deliver to the right parts of the house.

Our neighbours next door neighbours hang their washing on the fence. That would drive me nuts if I were next to them. I'd put kreosote on their washing...
