Excellent motor and planning skills practice.

Not sure about the trying it first part though. My parent were quite relaxed about us trying alcohol - sips at parties etc. At 11 I helped myself to sherry behind their back and made myself sick. At 14 I was swigging bottles of neat martini down the fair.
Just saying that the civilised approach to drinking doesn't always work.

I'm quite civilised now though.

mummsararus - they do live in France - where I believe there's a much more laid back approach to children tasting/drinking wine?

French? - that's different. Opening, serving and tasting wine is a compulsory component of their early years framework at nursery school. No longer so impressed by your mate.

The question is can they make a decent cup of tea? If not then I'd think twice about visiting

well friend and her DH are English.......but they live in France.

I'll ask her about the tea
