Well done. I reckon his wife has given him a right bollocking.

Wow he was brave to ring back really but glad all sorted - i would be miffed if someoene from work rang me in fact tuther week a colleague rang me in a flap as him and another colleague couldnt decide who did the late night at work (it was my 3 days off) and it was kind of insinuated i came in and did it , i was at time being harrased by ds for a biscuit and half laughed and said "i dont give a f* its my days off", i felt bad, word must have gotten round as in the team meeting as it was mentioned not to contact people about work issues when on sick or leave unless life and death and only through manager.

maybe his wife read this thread on MN, put 2+2 together and made him ring back to apologise

NonnoMum · 06/06/2010 23:12

Yep - reckon his wife is a Mumsnetter.

NEVER heard of a shoe in the airing cupboard. Inspired!

All resolved. Did you have that wine?

When you see him tomorrow I'd mention your disquiet at him getting your exdirectory number and going through your files when he's a colleague not your boss. If he's being inappropriate may be worth raising it with your boss.
