I have seen worse, but wouldn't buy it. I am not a fan of slogan t-shirts on anyone though.

melpomene · 06/06/2010 00:21

What about this one

rewardgirl · 06/06/2010 00:22

First one isn't great - what lessons exactly are the parents trying to teach their child with this one???

And the second one is downright evil to make a child wear - basically having them tell everyone that they were unwanted and a "mistake". Hideous.

melpomene · 06/06/2010 00:26

Good grief; who would buy link this for a 7 year old?

ShadeofViolet · 06/06/2010 07:30

Dear God, the last one is awful Melpomene

I mean seriously why the hell would you put your child in these, apart from the first one which is mild in comparison but still would make me , why the fuck do people think they are appropriate for children and your supposed beloved offspring!

BouncingTurtle · 06/06/2010 08:50

I'm wondering if is where the parents of the kid I saw at Flamingo Land bought his T-shirt - it said on it "I've had your mum".

I wished I had took a picture... but I probably would have been accused of being a paedo.

Interestingly DH took one look at the "Motherf*er" t-shirt and said, "whatever next, a paedophile rate-me t-shirt.

Do people really have such low opinions of their kids?

huffythethreadslayer · 06/06/2010 09:01

I understand people wanting funny tee shirts for their kids, sometimes they can make you smile or giggle. The first one isn't too bad in my book. I wouldn't choose it for my dd as she hates horses and wouldn't thank you for any daddy other than her own.

The other tee shirts listed, though, are all gross. Why would you want your kids to even know about condoms and the fact that they can break before they need to? Let alone advertise to the whole world that you think it's o.k. to say this about your offspring. Not funny at all.

I do like the tee shirt they've done that says club sandwiches not seals though...that's clever.

BouncingTurtle · 06/06/2010 09:03

OMG - did you spot the sexotrology T-shirts!

FFS! Hey did you notice the seller - Solid Gold Bomb.

Is this in fact a MNer in a not very good disguise

I hope not!

huffythethreadslayer · 06/06/2010 09:10

OMG! Why would ANYONE buy something like that for a child! That's the worst one yet imo.

And I don't think the MNer in question would sully their hands with that kind of item BouncingTurtle.

BouncingTurtle · 06/06/2010 09:17

No I don't think so either but we can at least have a bit if fun winding her up about it

huffythethreadslayer · 06/06/2010 09:48

LOL

MarthaQuest · 06/06/2010 09:53

What's a Hooter's girl ?

MarthaQuest · 06/06/2010 09:53

What's a Hooter's girl ?

FlookCrow · 06/06/2010 09:55

I think it's funny! :D Like the dummies with the writing on the bottom that says "mute button". It's not meant to be taken seriously.

sanielle · 06/06/2010 09:56

That last one is disgusting. I actually wanted to report it, but there doesn't seem to be an option on Amazon? There is a report problem with photo, but that is for techinial issues and doesn't have an option for "sex act depicted on a 7 year old's t-shirt".

I am also a bit embarrassed by the fact it is showing in my recently viewed items..BLoody amazon shows you photos of things "you might like"based on your previous views...

wastingaway · 06/06/2010 10:00

Fucking hell, these are awful! That first one looks so mild in comparison now.

Flook, it's really not funny, it's sickening. Poor kids.

Huh... I think everyone knows it's not meant to be taken seriously.

I guess it just depends on how evolved your sense of humour is.

As for the mother**er top - as if any child old enough to wear one the size of the one in the picture would be caught dead in it. To go around blatantly advertising your parents' sex life would be total social suicide for any child.

Ryoko · 06/06/2010 10:14

I don't see anything wrong with that T-shirt

BarefootShirl · 06/06/2010 11:07

Apparently Next received so many complaints over their "So many boys, so little time" t-shirt for very young girls that it was withdrawn. However, generally on older children I think they can be OK - it's not meant to be taken seriously!. For adults, have a look at www.teesbox.com - some of these are genuinely funny IMO .

sungirltan · 06/06/2010 11:09

yanbu- that t shirt is horrid. yay lets just bring up our dd's to be greedy and materialistic!!

Curiousmama · 06/06/2010 11:16

Am so at the condom one, that's horrendous, only scum would put a child in that.

Think horse and rich daddy one is also vile in another way, shallow.

Curiousmama · 06/06/2010 11:28

I can't believe the sextrology ones!!! How on earth are they getting away with that??
