Skips prettily about the vast empty potentiality of the empty Hall and awaits.

I pictured that scene Mimi and smiled dreamily, esp the lilac ponies and their peacock feathers

And their little bells gently tinkling.....

Have just checked, and found that in less than a year I've made over 500 posts. And I lurk much more than I post - so how much time have I spent here?

So, reluctantly, I'm going to follow Jamie into exile. Starting tomorrow.

(Hope to be accompanied by lilac ponies with their peacock headdresses.)

Farewell, dear hearts. See you all on the dark side in 2011.

Have fun!

Gibbon · 31/08/2010 19:34

Oh my God, what is going on!!!

You can't bugger off the pair of you, ya hear me?

PrincessFiorimonde · 31/08/2010 20:51

Gibbon, you are such a sweetheart. Hope your girls are doing well.

Will find you in January. x

Jamieandhismagictorch · 31/08/2010 21:50

Yes, see you in January x

< thinks that suspicions have been raised about elopement of Princess and James >

Gibbon · 31/08/2010 22:41

I am seriously sulking but begrudgingly wishing you both a good break.

Will truly miss you both making me smile.

MadameDefarge · 31/08/2010 22:48

Jamie, before you disappear, how about coffee thurs morning? Or is school back for you lot?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 01/09/2010 07:41

can't do this Thurs - they are still home. But could do next Thurs - what time?

MadameDefarge · 01/09/2010 09:08

Ah, I was rather hoping to get the boys together too...but maybe another time. Next thurs for coffee would be splendid. Belle Epoque? 10.30?

Hullygully · 01/09/2010 10:54

Oh yes fine. Just have secret meetings without the rest of us. Huh.

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 01/09/2010 11:16

fine. Just fine. I'll cancel the elves, then, shall I? the ones making you a tiny, perfectly formed princess castle out of semi-precious stone? swathed in rainbow organza and littered with crystallised flower petals? Hmm? Shall I?

Umami · 01/09/2010 16:44

Whaaaaaaa...????

You go away for a couple of days and return to find everyone has gone away for a couple of months!

Do have a nice break dear gels. Real life can only hope to deserve you both.

As for >500 posts in

Hullygully · 01/09/2010 17:03

Bastards.

You're all bastards. Right I'm going to the Christmas meet and not telling anyone.

OP posts:
Jamieandhismagictorch · 01/09/2010 18:32

Am still hanging round like a bad smell. MNHQ was meant to exterminate me today but have not got round to it.

hully - I would love to meet with you all. Not all of you are lucky enough to live in fair 'ackerney though. Arrange a meet, wear your best (blue) dress and I shall be there in a heartbeat

Mimi- It's a date! (don't tell hully). Sorry about boys. DS1 has back to back "playdates" this week, surprisingly

MadameDefarge · 01/09/2010 18:55

Hurrah!

Umami · 01/09/2010 19:46

I would crawl across continents of broken glass to see The Blue Dress.

MadameDefarge · 01/09/2010 19:51

crawl, dear widow, crawl, I yearn to see the tatters appear in your shadowy drapery...a little rent for each departed spouse, perhaps?

Umami · 01/09/2010 20:26

I prepare to prostrate myself

MadameDefarge · 01/09/2010 20:34

I rather like this look

Umami · 02/09/2010 07:02

Ooh, yes, though the glass will play merry hell with those stockings.

How was Pie Night? Sounds delicious! Will you be harvesting Hackney sloes to knock up some gin for the winter?

Hullygully · 02/09/2010 09:36

Pie night? What pie night? Why have you all got secrets?

OP posts:
Hullygully · 02/09/2010 09:37

Funes. What a fine word.

OP posts:
Umami · 02/09/2010 09:51

'Pie Night' is code. As is 'Hackney Sloes'.

The eagle has landed. A bird in the hand is worth two in your bush. Many a mickle makes a muckle. You aint seen me, roight?

Umami · 02/09/2010 09:54

Funing in the rain
