Skips prettily about the vast empty potentiality of the empty Hall and awaits.

Turkey cooking though? For why? 'Tis not the season.

Not that am not v. impressed and excited for you, of course!!

Wonder if MPW will crush up Knorr cubes and blend with oil to rub over his bird.

MadameDefarge · 07/07/2010 18:07

HPB married...ah well!

Umami, you bad girl you!

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/07/2010 18:09

Oh yes, forgot. We are not that sort of people (only in Umami's fantasies)

Umami · 07/07/2010 19:58

You're all just figments of my imagination you know. Or possibly Words On A Screen.

CheerfulYank · 07/07/2010 20:04

Did someone say cyber-stalking?

Umami · 07/07/2010 20:07

Cheerful! Welcome back!

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/07/2010 20:17

Aaah Cheerful. I thought you were hanging with a different crowd now

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/07/2010 20:20

I just agreed with bran BTW. And I see pag is willfuly ignoring us and pontificating on other matters.

And where is Hully? Watching the footie if I know her .....

Umami · 07/07/2010 20:29

I haven't agreed with Bran for ages.

tethersend · 07/07/2010 20:43

I'm fed up and want to belong.

Can I join you?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/07/2010 20:47

tether - you always belong! I always notice you on threads, and think about your lovely bell-end.

Has someone upset you? Want us to summon the mighty forces of IPOAT to get them ?

Umami · 07/07/2010 20:51

When I see you around, Tether, I think of your Fez.

Is Hully out and about rounding up our lost sheep?

Hullygully · 07/07/2010 21:16

I have been at the school all dutiful watching the most appallingly dull singing thing you can possibly imagine. Even five glasses of wine didn't dull the pain.

Footie? Wot's that? I am bleedin high brow I'll have you know.

Yo Tehters and Cheerful, nice to see you, to see you...

I want a meet up.

Going out again now.

Hully! You should speak to my dad - he still goes on about the Artaban debacle (dismal musical written by my music teacher in the vein of Joseph and his etc etc)

Almost expected to see you there today. Was eyeing up likely candidates (not a wise thing to do in these parts)

Jamieandhismagictorch · 07/07/2010 21:33

In case you are interested, Artaban was the (fictional) 4th Wise Man, who didn't make it to the birth of the Little Baby Jesus, on account of having his camel clamped (or something)

pagwatch · 08/07/2010 12:09

I have been wandering around pitifully, living in hope that Tether would turn up.

And just as she does Cheerful pitches up too.

MadameDefarge · 08/07/2010 12:17

Ladies! Congratulate me! I have this morning accomplished many great things...1) Did my very first online VAT return and paid. 2) Paid rent on time 3) Paid back my sister for the numerous ikea trips she flung on her credit card over the last few months...Am now down to brass tacks.

But still have so much else to do! Must go to see ds in his tap dancing recital...

Oh yeah, and cook food for tonight's service.

Hullygully · 08/07/2010 12:26

Well done Mimi, you are a veritable Alana Sugar and no mistake.

I have to go and see yet another thing at the school too. Expressive arts as expressed by ds, his friends, a guitar and some drums...can hardly wait. End of term is such fun, crammed with all these delights.

Mustn't say anything though, made the mistake after last night's hideous effort of commenting on the lack of narrative thrust...

OP posts:
Jamieandhismagictorch · 08/07/2010 13:15

Madame - Well done!. And your DS does tap - I could join him in a time-step or two .....

I on the other hand, did not get a job today. Over-qualified. I am over-qualified for the sort of life I want

< self-pitying >

pagwatch · 08/07/2010 14:07

Don't be downhearted Jamie.

We all love and value you even though you are vastly over qualified to be a member of IPOAT. We forgive your rampant superiority.

Well done with the financial wizardry Madame... not cooking the books then?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 08/07/2010 14:15

thankyou pag. I suppose I could condescend to spend more time with you.

Off to buy four candles

pagwatch · 08/07/2010 14:19

see. Look how smart and superior you are. It would have taken me ages to come up with fork handles.

Condescend to me anytime. I have a clever teenager. Being patronised is my life...

pagwatch · 08/07/2010 14:26

I have no boys this week

Pag the Elder is visiting unis and Pagboy is on an adventure week.
They are going to let him shoot. I don't let him change the tv channel.

I went to meet DH at his work on Tuesday as DD had a sleepover so i had NO CHILDREN .
I got hugely pissed on Tattinger at the top of a big building that some banker dived off some weeks ago . I wondered if it was DH trying to tell me something

then we met DS1 from his train and all went to posh dining gaff in Covent garden and a mouse came and sat next to me in the bar
DS1 tried to feed it ....

It is very very odd to have no boys around. V odd indeed.

Hullygully · 08/07/2010 14:38

Never mind James, keep your pecker aloft. I have several friends who have started leaving things off their cv for this very reason. In my day we padded them out something rotten, if not downright made them up. Strange times.

How nice Pag, dc-free time is to be much prized and enjoyed. I always find it hard when they come back and want things again. One gets used to sitting on the sofa for twenty undisturbed minutes at a time.

That is v brave of you to let Pagboy go for a whole week.
