Skips prettily about the vast empty potentiality of the empty Hall and awaits.

Hullygully · 27/06/2010 11:41

What on earth is she doing? Get on with it, Gibbon. We want our first IPOAT baby, sparks and all.

Hello!

Darling Nigel is actually Darling Nigella!

She is amazingly gorgeous, breath taking and smells of all things good in this world

The labour was not like DD1's (oohh how weird writing that for the first time!) It was pretty dreadful but I did manage to soak the midwife when she broke my waters which on the gas and air made me chuckle rather a lot. It was a flood of biblical proportions

V tired now so off to rest but I just had to update you all when I got home. Thank you for thinking of me, much love xxx

pagwatch · 27/06/2010 13:38

Oh welcome Nigella!

Gibon - how totally wonderful.

Many many many congratulations.

Rest up. Well done Gibbon Family

MadameDefarge · 27/06/2010 13:51

Oh wow! how totally and utterly amazing! Welcome Nigella, welcome to RL and to your rightful place as uberbabe of IPOAT....

(well done, Gibbon....!)

pagwatch · 27/06/2010 13:52

Hullygully · 27/06/2010 14:49

Hooray for electricalla Nigella! How lovely. Ooooooh, a baby! Very many congratulations to the Gibbons! And well done Gibbon for the spectacular rupturing - how very IPOAT!

MadameDefarge · 27/06/2010 16:09

indeed, Umami....and I have a feeling that mummyjuice, ahem, beats the pants off maidenjuice!

PrincessFiorimonde · 27/06/2010 18:40

Congratulations Gibbon and family, and welcome to electrical Nigella. xx

Umami · 27/06/2010 20:39

I shall henceforth be able to counter the effects of Hully's MAIDENJUICE with the superior power of MUMMYJUICE!!!

If only dear Abercrombie had known of it, he might have escaped his disfigurement.

Hullygully · 27/06/2010 21:26

Pah.

Piffle and schadenfreude Widow, I shall see you for juices at dawn.

How's EN? Come on Gibbbon, we want news. Anyone would think you'd just given birf.

OP posts:
Umami · 27/06/2010 21:37

If I may interrupt the mad maiden scientists for a moment...

Am orff tomorrow for a holiday in the sun (as it's so wintry here ). So just want to wish Gibbon, Electrical Nigella and family all the best before I go.

After all - to paraphrase - We are now an IPOAT Grandmother...

Jamieandhismagictorch · 28/06/2010 18:21

Can I just ask something? Were we just guessing that Electrical baby was a boy, or was there a scan? Just wanting to establish the level of surprise created by Nigella's arrival.

Cannot wait to hear all about it.

Hope you are all OK Gibbon and the rest of the Funky Gibbons

Hullygully · 29/06/2010 09:45

I believe twas Umami what made an assumption way back when. But no doubt she with the prodigious memory will know.

What IS Gibbon doing, do you think?

OP posts:
Jamieandhismagictorch · 29/06/2010 14:56

Cannot imagine ... feasting on strawberries, wearing fluffy mules, maybe - not a rubber ring or paper knicker in sight

Hope she's OK

Umami · 29/06/2010 18:31

I recall no such assumption, but have the vague idea it was something to do with a brother for Gerald the hamster? And the heat must be getting to me, for I can no longer recall why he was electrical.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 29/06/2010 18:37

No - no idea why electrical -

I believe the name Nigel was mine - I was in a silly mood one day and suggesting Nigel on every baby Names thread -(must do that again sometime ...)

Am weirdly obsessed by baby names. Wonder what Electrical baby will be called?
