Was is all boys? it was probably me.....I just don't hear it anymore most of the time, I think a part of my soul brain has shrivelled up and died over the motherhood years.

I am always in awe of the way the parents have perfected the 'la la la I can't hear you, I have zoned you out' look.

They scan the shelves with interest and seem to deliberately down the trolley push as if to really let everyone know 'This is normal and does not bother me, nor should it bother you'

I need a life. I am playing this well known scene in my head.

I have two dds who love to communicate via screeches when in the supermarket, I think it's the high ceilings. They're fine in all other places.

yes another loud ds here, he does not stop!! i cant go in the town or anything with him or i will end up as fishwife mother from hell and trust me in the town we live in that is quite an achievement!

A couple of weeks ago I founf myself tutting as I could hear loud shouting in the supermarket.

Turned out to be my dh and dcs playing "Bogies!"

DS is the noisiest child I have ever met, but he also hates loud noise - weird!
