teaandcakeplease · 11/05/2010 12:49

I think my guilty conscience is too highly tuned from growing up going to church

It doesn't matter about the poster who I originally thought of. Not really. Don't want to be too mean, hence the guilt. Even lying down to go to sleep last night I felt bad!

gomummygo · 11/05/2010 12:52

Sounds like I did miss something last night. Oh well, today's a new day on the bench!

How are you all doing this morning?

AF-Pigeon poo on the bench! After I had polished it to a blinding gleam last night!

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 13:03

Teaandcake dont feel guilty we were just mucking around

gomummy we were just having a laugh about other mnetters and who was annoying it was us being daft but i stupidly named one. whoops

gomummygo · 11/05/2010 13:32

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 13:37

HairExtensions · 11/05/2010 16:30

Good afternoon all! It's freezing here, was lovely this morning, rained at lunchtime and now just bloody cold.

I felt a bit guilty about last night too

I have one or two in mind but it doesn't really matter who we like/don't like.

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 18:00

Anyone fancy a hot chocolate?

gomummygo · 11/05/2010 18:02

Thanks for the throws, HE, bloody cold is right, brrr.

No more feeling guilty you lovely ladies!

So what is everyone having for dinner tonight? Need ideas, DH is having a long day, want to do up a treat of some type for him...

gomummygo · 11/05/2010 18:03

LOL, xpost tiredmum, looks like we both have chocolate on the brain...

junglist1 · 11/05/2010 18:06

What a sodding day I've had!!! Signal failures, no trains, mass scrum for cabs when there weren't any, leading to me arguing with a guy for taking my cab when it was a cab he'd called from another office, me screaming at the controller "are you a cab office or not" because there aren't any sodding cabs and eventually getting to the school at 415!!!! How can a cab office next to a train station not have any cabs in the afternoon??!!! Useless, much?

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 18:13

lol gomummy

just having a chilli con carne tonight gm.

poor you junglist horrid weather brings horrid days. bloody cab firms are useless, i hope you told them to employ extra staff.

AnyFucker · 11/05/2010 18:14

< passes junglist a chill pill, you poor love >

we are having beans on toast

'tis my culinary masterpiece

CheerfulYank · 11/05/2010 18:19

It's only noon here and it's already been a right day, I tell you.

My usual student was gone today so I had to work with another one who refused to do his worksheet and ran around shouting and tipping over desks. I pulled my shoulder hauling him down to the calm-down room; he tripped a teacher so we had to get a wheeled office chair, hold him on it and wheel him down. CRIPES! Now it's pouring rain and I must go pick up DS and head home for a snuggle on the couch.

Anybody got a flask? We can spike the choc...

junglist1 · 11/05/2010 18:20

TM1 I did tell controller to sod off home and close his buisness down as there's no point him being there. I was ranting till an old man came over and gave "poor love" vibes and I wound my neck in. The man was so sweet and I can't swear in front of the elderly. A tenner the cab cost me!!!!
OK chill pill (Shepherds pie for dinner nearly ready)

CheerfulYank · 11/05/2010 18:23

Aw...that was nice of the old man junglist. I can't swear in front of the elderly either, I always feel like they'll be "oh what's the world coming to with these vulgar young people"

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 18:26

i love nice old people they are well erm nice lol

junglist1 · 11/05/2010 18:26

He was frail and maybe a bit worried so I left it. Also gasket blowing in public aint a good look

Tiredmumno1 · 11/05/2010 18:27

i love nice old people they are well erm nice lol

gomummygo · 11/05/2010 18:32

Ugh junglist, that would irk me! But how nice about the old man, I don't know why they tend to soften me too.

Cheerful - I have Baileys?
