Do you think making the children do the housework when they come in from school will do it? It will require a considerable amount of hot air to be generated?

Same here menopausemad - our TV has no buttons on the front and was a twat to first find out how to turn the thing off, had to read the manual. Then to turn the whole thing off, we couldnt find the button to turn it off instead of on Stand by so had to get the manual out again and it said to:

To power down the TV completely - UNPLUG FROM THE SOCKET lol
