SELFISH PARENTS

What the hell are parents thinking bringing toddlers/under fives to the cinema to see films meant for adults??? I am disgusted at seeing these poor children dragged along with their selfish parents to see films that are so obviously not meant for their age group. Not to mention the racket they make! Any wonder kids are messed up these days.

fernie3 i never said it was a horror film. It is quite a menacing/dark film in places however. The violence, crude language and sexual language are not meant for under 12s [who must be accompanied by adults]. Hence the warning that parents are responsible for under 12s watching the film. It is totally not for under 5s either. I saw a girl about 2 or 3 crying at the violent parts and her parents wouldnt take her out they just ignored her and kept watching the film.

yanbu.

It's a 12 so I wouldn't expect parents to take under 12's or the cimena staff to let them in.

I get your point, I disagree. Clearly. Which bit of that was too tough for you?

Ironman 2 toys are in burger king kids meals. Must be an adult film then!!

I was taken to James Bond films as a child. I remember being chuffed to go with the rest of my family and not left at home and generally falling asleep half way through. Now from my biased position, I think I turned out ok. I have also taken my babies to movies when young and if they started to even whimper I had them staight out the door. Generally they fed and slept. So far their hearing tests have been A-ok

But fwiw if the kids are distressed and not taken out then that is wrong and def selfish
