I loved chatting with the older ladies while I was on Mat leave. I remember one in particular telling me to be careful about taking dd otu in the cold. Now I could have been very offended by this but she went on to tell me all about her sisters who died from flu and her little babe who had lung problems and I understood totally where she was coming from and we chatted for quite a while after that, funnily enough out in the cold. think she enjoyed chatting and I know I did to.

ds and i were in the drs queue and the man in front bent over and ds smacked his backside he also asks all the workmen he sees their names!! he is a massive fan of preety women and when he was having an xray a couple of weeks ago, he looked up at the lady who was doing it and said "lady you look so beautiful today" she melted!!

I said on another thread about my lovely ds who is deaf and has aspegers. Several years ago when he was about seven we were at his stepbrothers. Wilfred accidentally swallowed a ball bearing which resulted in a trip to casualty. Wilf decided to make friends with a man with a teatowel wrapped round his hand who was accompanied by a police lady. No amount of persuading could make Wilf move. My poor stepson(eight years older than me) was hiding behind a magazine pretending we were nothing to do with him!!

I once encountered a nutter who said I was suffocating my baby because the rain cover was on his buggy.

People are weird, aren't they?
