...go to Morrisons and get me some custard donuts?

He's sat on his arse and I can't drive

YANBU of course he should go and get you some doughnuts & while he's at it, can I have some curly-wurlies too?

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 22/03/2010 20:04

Could you add Jelly Babies to his list. Tnx

4andnotout · 22/03/2010 20:04

Yabvu, custard ones are grim, toffee or chocolate filled are the way to go.

JazzieJeff · 22/03/2010 20:04

YANBU; that's the deal, you carry the baby around for 9 months, he gets you some custard doughnuts or whatever. Or sticky toffee pudding... mmmm....

BattyKoda · 22/03/2010 20:08

I'm not actually pregnant. I was 14 months ago though, surely I'm still entitled?

4andnotout - custard are the best. End of.

Curly wurlies and jelly beans added, not looking promising though, he's getting comfy.

CowWatcher · 22/03/2010 20:10

I have DD's easter egg from her Granny stashed in the cupboard next to me. Its calling to me... help!

BattyKoda · 22/03/2010 20:15

CowWatcher - don't do it, you will never forgive yourself! (not speaking from experience, honest)

Oh god, the more I think of that sugary coating, the gooey sweet center surrounded by all that fluffiness

Do Morrison's deliver??

OP posts:
1Littleboy1Bigboy · 22/03/2010 20:16

could he get me some milk??

CowWatcher · 22/03/2010 20:18

Get him to make you a cup of tea. I find that sometimes that takes my mind off the cravings. (goes to put kettle on)

BattyKoda · 22/03/2010 20:30

Good shout CowWatcher, he's buggerd off out now anyway. I have put two packs in my Tesco order for Wednesday

OP posts:
wubblybubbly · 22/03/2010 20:36

Is there nothing you can persuade him that he really wants?

That's my usual tactic, it works about 50% of the time, though my hubby has a terrible sweet tooth and is easily manipulated persuaded

BattyKoda · 22/03/2010 20:39

Nope - He's done to play football, muttering about keeping in shape or some bollocks

I have, however, just discovered the remains of DS's birthday cake, 10 days old, sat in a cake tin, what do you think? Will it kill me?

OP posts:
Exogenesis · 22/03/2010 20:42

Theres only one way to find out...... ;)

wubblybubbly · 22/03/2010 21:22

Batty - did you eat the cake?

BattyKoda · 22/03/2010 21:27

No, it was a bit, erm, gooey Can't believe we all forgot about it tbh!

OP posts:

BattyKoda · 22/03/2010 22:07

JavaBean247 · 23/03/2010 11:14

I don't think your good at this whole convincing your partner to go to the shops for you.

I'm sure if you tried really hard you could think of a way to convince him

seeker · 23/03/2010 11:15

Morrisons make a lovely fresh cream sponge cake too.

emmymama · 23/03/2010 13:15

A bun in the oven where was it all started for me. DH was wonderful at popping out in the middle of the night for salt and vinegar crisps for me to lick

sayithowitis · 23/03/2010 17:34

How about you learn to drive then you can go and get custard doughnuts anytime you want? even in the middle of the night if it's a 24 hour one!
